GFORM and Schoofs Immobilien Frankfurt GmbH have laid the foundation stone for a four-level building in Dinkelsbühl in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia. On a 9,400 sqm site, an Edeka full-range store is being built that has signed a 21-year lease, next to a bakery with a café, topped by three residential floors with a total of 83 barrier-free apartments. The mixed-use property with a total let area of 8,094 sqm is part of the 7.4 hectare large neighbourhood development “Gaisfeld IV”. When completed in the first quarter of 2025, the new asset will be managed by Greenman Group company GFORM on behalf of the fund Greenman OPEN. The celebratory ceremony was attended by project stakeholders, community representatives, and the Mayor Dr. Christoph Hammer.
The ground-breaking ceremony marks an exciting milestone for GFORM and its partner Schoofs Immobilien Frankfurt GmbH. This new project represents a step forward in delivering sustainably built mixed-use real estate in local German development, and it’s an excellent example of a long-term relationship GFORM and Schoofs have built. The building is planned to achieve DGNB-Gold certification, which is the highest rating for sustainable building practices in Germany. Sustainability is a key focus for this development, and PV solar panels and EV-hypercharger stations are planned to be installed by Greenman’s sister company Greenman Energy. These energy-efficient features will not only help reduce the carbon footprint of the asset but also help to reduce energy costs for residents and occupiers.
